LBD Maternity Style

Dress: Tobey Grey (Similar maternity version here)// Blazer: Soft Joie Neville Blazer// Shoes: Steve
Madden// Bag: Chanel// Necklace: Lisa Freede// Bracelets: Vita Fede.

This LBD has been a staple for me during my pregnancy.  I love how easy it is to throw on, and how it stretches in the right places to accommodate my growing bump.  I recently bought this Soft Joie blazer and it has become another staple in my wardrobe.  It is the softest blazer I've owned, and a perfect piece for throwing on over dresses or dressing up tee shirt and jeans.  I'll  most likely be living in it after my pregnancy too.  I wore this outfit the other day to work with flats, but love how the heels make it ready for night.  Now if only I could get these legs tanned!!

Thanks for reading and have a great Wednesday.

Maternity Photos

I recently had maternity photos taken because I wanted to capture this amazing time in my life, and I couldn't be happier with them.  Although these baby boys are starting to make me really uncomfortable, and I often find myself dreaming of being able to wear a crop top or little summer dress, I am loving my baby bump and finding it to be my favorite accessory.   It is a reminder of the two miracles that are growing in there, and my connection to these boys until I am able to hold them in my arms, which is why I am excited to share these photos with everyone.

These photos were captured by Emily Barker Photography, a life style photographer with a focus on newborns, children and families.  If you live in the Boston area, I highly recommend her work, and I can't wait to have her take photos of my baby boys once they arrive!  Check out her website here.

My Bookmarks

As a blogger, I am constantly searching the internet for new ideas and inspiration, and often I come across links that I love and find really useful that they make it into my bookmarks.  I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite links in a regular post called My Bookmarks.  Let me know what your think and happy Cinco De Mayo!

1. How to get faux-looking lashes using baby powder.  I found this article on Real Beauty and had to try it right away.  It was very simple to do, and although I felt my lashes didn't look any longer, they did appear to look thicker.   Try it for yourself at Elle.com.

2. Margarita Cupcakes:  What's more perfect than making Margarita cupcakes on Cinco De Mayo?  One of my favorite bloggers, Emily Schuman of Cupcakes and Cashmere, posted this recipe this past week and I had to add it to my recipe book.  I actually made these last year and never kept the recipe, so I was very excited to come across them again.  They're not too difficult to make and delicious!  They'll definitely be a hit if you're heading to a Cinco De Mayo party.  Get the recipe here:  http://cupcakesandcashmere.com/recipe/margarita-cupcakes-recipe

3. How To Use Scotch Tape To Perfect Your Liquid Eyeliner: I came across this article on Pinterest and was excited to try it.  I've been attempting the cat-eye look but with unsteady hands, it was always a hit or miss on how my liner turned out.  I tried this scotch tape trick and was amazed how well it worked.  Learn the trick for yourself at elle.com.

4. Quick Tips Instant Heel Caps: Another product I found on Pinterest are these Quick Tips Instant Heel Caps.  The heel has worn thin on one of my favorite pairs of shoes and I haven't had time to take them to the cobbler.  Quick Tips seem like a great temporary fix and I can't wait to try them.  Get them at gogoheel.com.
