I've been seeing these Alexander Wang 'Lin' leather boots (some call them pumps, others mules) a lot lately, and I can't get them out of my mind. The shield-like front gives the appearance of a boot, while the back is strictly mule. I have to be honest though, I'm not sure if I love them or hate them....Either way they have become my obsession of the week. What do you think?
I hope everyone is having a good week so far, I however, have been sick with the worst head cold. I'll tell you, as any mom will know, it's not easy being sick and having to take care of kids, let alone twin three-month-olds. The worst part about it, is I am afraid of getting them sick. You don't get a sick day from being a mom, and as the twins are so dependent on me, I am constantly holding and breathing on them. So far they haven't caught my cold, so lets keep our fingers crossed.
When I'm sick I am always cold, and snuggling up in a chunky knit sweater is my first step to feeling better. Below are some knits that I'd love to be wrapped in as we speak. Not only are these images a great inspiration for sick days, but they're also perfect for hanging out after a day on the slopes.
I haven't worn a belt in quite some time, until a couple of weeks ago. Now I am finding the belt a perfect accessory to finish an outfit, whether adding one to a dress, over a jacket, or just with jeans and a blouse. Check out more belt inspiration below.
I'm loving the look of a bow tie worn with a blouse, and ever since seeing it parade down the runway of Saint Laurent's Fall 2014 RTW show, I've been wanting to add one to my wardrobe. I still haven't decided if I am going to buy a blouse and bow combo, or just the bow tie, but either way it will be my next purchase as I can't wait to try this look. The bow tie and blouse combo not only looks great when paired with a pencil skirt for a professional look, but I can't wait to wear it with distressed jeans and booties for drinks with my girlfriends or dinner with my husband.
I feel like it was just yesterday when the announcement was made at Coachella that Alexander Wang was collaborating with H&M for a collection that would be available in November, which seemed so far away. Now, the look book has been revealed consisting of sporty pieces true to Wang's style, including scuba dresses and sweatshirts, mesh leggings, leather joggers and gloves that are fit for a boxing ring. And in less than three short weeks we will be able to shop the collection. I have my eye on those booties and neoprene sweatshirt, what pieces are you excited for?
