Happy (almost) New Years! I still can't get over how fast this year flew by. Does everyone have fun New Years Eve plans? I'm hoping to make it back up to the lake to ring in the new year with my sister and friends. Unfortunately, I've been sick this week with a head cold, so I'm crossing my fingers that I will feel better tomorrow. Besides my cold, this has been such a great week. We spent Christmas up at the lake, then headed north on Monday to Killington, VT for our Hanukkah celebration. It was a wonderful four days with family, and I used that time to unplug, be present, and recharge for all the exciting things coming in the new year. It was weird to go all day without checking Instagram, Snapchat, or logging onto my blog, but being fully present with my loved ones was well worth it. However, I'm back and excited to share my last look of 2016, which happens to be perfect for a low key NYE.
If you're anything like me, fancy nights out on December 31st are a thing of the past (at least until the twins are a little older). For the past couple of years, my New Years Eve has consisted of small get togethers with good friends and kids running around, where no gowns or formal wear are required. Nevertheless, I still like to dress for the occasion, so finding something that is comfortable with a little sparkle is a must. Which brings me to this look. This is actually a sequin tank dress that I had hanging in my closet, which I layered with a cashmere sweater giving it a more relaxed and cozy feel. I love that by adding the sweater, it not only gives an old dress a new look, but it makes it more appropriate for a casual event. I finished my look with booties, black tights, and a leather jacket for extra warmth, and a little edge.
Do you know what you'll be wearing for New Years Eve? I wish everyone a very happy and healthy New Year!

This week we have three feature bloggers, and I'm excited to share Shauna from Lipgloss and Lace. I'm in love with her tiered sleeves and vest for the holidays. Make sure to stop by her blog and say hello, and don't forget to visit Melissa and Sheree's blogs to see the other two feature bloggers.
