My favorite weekend has finally arrived. Bring on the beach, barbecues, and boat rides! I don't think that there's a more fun holiday than the 4th, and what makes celebrating our country's independence even more special, is that it's also the twins birthday. I waited a lifetime for my boys to come into my life (or at least it felt that way) so their birthday is my favorite day of the year. Since we'll be spending the holiday at the lake, I wanted to plan a casual look, so I reached for a pair of denim shorts (these are seriously the best cut-offs that I have ever owned) and a red top. I actually got this off-the-shoulder top last year, and it's still one of my favorites, as I can't get enough of the the pom pom detailing on the sleeves. I thought denim shorts added the perfect amount of blue, then for my white, I added a white panama hat. Although, now looking at these photos I realized that I didn't need the hat, because my legs added more than enough white to my look (time for a tan)!! I finished my outfit with my pom pom sandals for a cute, easy, and festive look. What will you be wearing this fourth?
